Estimating Your Bill

The Brown University Bill Estimator provides an estimate of the annual billed charges for first year students.

The Brown University Bill Estimator is for informational purposes and the accuracy of the information you enter will affect the accuracy of the resulting  estimate. The costs of books, travel and personal expenses are not included in this estimate. The Bill Estimator is not an actual bill, and University charges are subject to change.

Using the Bill Estimator

The Bill Estimator is intended for full-time students living on campus.

  • Log in to Banner Self-Service to find your most recent financial aid offer.
  • Indicate your anticipated participation in Brown Student Health Insurance.
  • Enter the amount of your Brown University Scholarship and/or federal grants, and any student loans you have been offered and plan to accept.
  • Do not include outside scholarships in the Bill Estimator, but keep in mind that outside scholarships may be used to reduce your student loans or Estimated Annual Amount Due.
  • All first time students will be charged a one-time $100 academic record fee,  (not included in the fees below).
