Brown sponsors a range of research and professional programs that provide financial aid to students who qualify.

If you are taking Brown Undergraduate Summer Session courses (including Brown Global Summer Programs) you may qualify for a Brown “Summer Grant”.
If you are taking winter courses at Brown, you may qualify for a Brown Winter Grant.

Other Opportunities at Brown

Students participating in an UTRA are offered a fellowship for study or research by working closely with a faculty member. The work can be based on a student's initiative, particular question or specialized ability. The UTRA program is coordinated by the Office of the Dean of the College.
ROTC, or Reserve Officers' Training Corps, is a college leadership program sponsored by the U.S. Military. Offered by the Army, Navy and Air Force (with the Naval ROTC including a Marine Corps commissioning track), ROTC offers qualified students full-tuition scholarships as well as monthly stipends.
Internships allow career exploration, develop professional skills, build résumés and develop students as better candidates for later internships and eventually full-time jobs.
Managed by the Center for Careers and Life After Brown, the Brown LINK provides financial assistance to a limited number of students pursuing career-related internships over the summer. This is a competitive program with application deadlines in March and April.
