Undergraduate Financial Aid

Early Assessment of Financial Aid

Early assessment process.

This is NOT an official application for Financial Aid.

The early assessment process is designed to help you make plans for college, but is not an official offer of financial aid. Since your family’s information is being evaluated before the formal application process begins, any financial aid determination is tentative.  In order to receive an official financial aid offer, you must submit all required application requirements.

Financial aid application requirements and deadlines are outlined in the Admission application and are also available under Apply for Aid on our website. The requirements and deadlines for the 2025-2026 academic year will be available in Fall 2024.

If you are admitted to the University and your aid application is complete, a formal financial aid decision will be included with the offer of admission.

To receive an early assessment of financial aid eligibility, submit/upload all of the following documents:

  • 2025-2026 Early Financial Aid Assessment Form and Instructions
  • Complete copy of your parents' 2023 Federal Returns (including all pages and schedules).  If your biological/adoptive parents are no longer together, but are remarried to someone else, please include information for both “Custodial Parents” (parent and step-parent).
